Caprine Cuddle

Saturday, June 27, 2009

Desertra’s blog, also known as “Claire Montrose Presents Her Life,” includes this sweet post about cuddling with caprine friends while dreaming of adopting an old girl goat:

“Goats are not our ideal of beauty,” Desertra writes. “For one, they have 4 stomachs. Makes for a big belly. In our minds this is not beautiful. Skinny neck, skinny legs, bony butt, big stomach. Not a good look. But you come to love the animal.”

“In Moia’s case, I loved her the second I saw her pretty head, at the Enumclaw Livestock auction, looking around for her baby as I later discovered.”
