Goat facts from Lazy Daze Farm

The blogger at Lazy Daze Farm in Kentucky has compiled this great list of goat facts, including that goats discovered coffee beans and ancient Greeks skinned goats to make vellum and parchment.

We’ll add this: The world’s earliest sausage is believed to have been made around 589 BC in China with goat and lamb meat filling. Europeans later used pork, veal and beef.
