Goat Lady Dairy

Thursday, July 9, 2009

In their 14 years of business, Goat Lady Dairy in Randolph County, S.C., has grown from a tiny operation to producing 35,000 pounds of cheese a year.

With a full line of fresh, ripened and aged cheeses, yogurt and even goat cheese truffles, no one any longer doubts the dairy will be successful, said Steve Tate, who started the cheese-making operation from his sister Ginny’s goats.

“Now, those same people ask us to come lead workshops for them about small farms,” Steve Tate told Fox News in this video of Goat Lady Dairy.

When you go to the Goat Lady Dairy Web site, take some time to watch the slide show on the Home Page. It’s filled with wonderful photos of wonderful people loving wonderful goats.
