Goat: ‘Miracle Meat’

Sunday, August 23, 2009

The rising popularity of goat meat is touted in this Fox News video, where the anchors act as if they are talking about meat from Mars they find the subject so foreign, and funny. Oh well, at least they know a hot story when they see one.

The newsman in the field with his arm around the goat mentions Bill Niman, a pioneer of the “Good Meat Movement” from Bolinas, California, who walked away from the beef company he started in the 1970s to launch a new venture with meat goats.

Good for you! It’s so important that we follow through with expressing ourselves when something doesn’t sit quite right or has a negative impact on the industry and our own ventures. I hope to hear that they reply but even if they don’t, you took a stand and spoke out.
