cramer

Meet Cramer, the pet wether at Razor Family Farms in Georgia, where he has access to a small playground and likes to use the swing set, as seen in this video.

Cramer is one of myriad critters at Josh and Lacy Razor’s farm, where a herd of milking goats was recently added. It wasn’t easy finding them, as Lacy relates in this post:

“We scanned the ads for goats all over Georgia and I contacted tons of wonderful goat-herding folks but I just couldn’t connect with them. Many of them spoke of their goats as they would a drunk uncle at a family reunion: useless, annoying, and blissfully unaware of boundaries. I kept searching. At last, I found a lady just north of us who spoke of her goats with respect and did not say (even once) how eager she was to unload the goats onto someone else.”

      Maureen,
We’re glad you found us as well. Stay turned for a future article on building a simple goat house. I have to go measure it and make a couple drawings. Goats are fabulous (as are chickens). I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time with them all. -NJ

  9. Aw, so cute. I’m glad you finally found someone who didn’t want to simply get rid of the goats. That would be awful!

It’s pictures like this that make it really hard to not get goats! (But I really, really can’t. I work and DH stays home. And he will NOT take care of goats. But they are cute! And milk is expensive at the store! LOL)
