MUNICH, Germany — European sports stars with hamstring problems reportedly are receiving injections of goat blood for quicker healing.
Dr. Wilhelm Muller-Wolfhart, team doctor for the Munich Giants has treated soccer stars Peter MacDonald, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard and Arjen Robben, among others, The Daily Record reports.
MacDonald, who’s received more than 50 of the injections, believed they may have saved his career. MacDonald says he’s been given a clean bill of health after months of hamstring problems that kept him off the field.
I read that he was quite keen do a Eastenders appearence! Lol. Sounds a bit dodgy to me. There’s a part of me that kind of hopes this is true lol.
