Nubian Goats

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

Feral Female, of Really Rural Penn., blogs at Thoughts From a Yodeling Goat Herder. Here she talks about summer’s change into fall: red maple leaves, flocking black birds — and a stinky Nubian buck named Anakin Skywalker.”

“Personally I’ll stick to Old Spice or Stetson on my man, but who am I to question love,” Feral Female says, noting Nubians are not a breed known for soft, gentle bleats.

“Nubians scream. Loudly, harshly and with grating levels that rival an air raid siren,” she said of Anakin’s love calls.
