R.I.P. Cherrypines Standout

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

StandoutNaimhe Jeanne fell in love with this old guy’s photo and declared him a Great Goat.

It turns out he really was, said Trinity Smith, farm manager for Redwoodhill Farm in Sonoma County, California.

“Cherrypines Standout was one of Redwood Hill Farm’s most famous Saanen bucks, siring many beautiful daughters. Here he is showing the love!”

After a very long and successful life life at Redwood Hill, Cherrypines Standout died this year, but his image lives on at the bottom of this page, showing some of the outstanding dairy goats at Redwoodhill Farms.
