American Goat

Saturday, October 10, 2009

Several years ago, Karl Schatz documented the goat industry in the United States with these stunning photos from the diverse world of goats.

These days, Karl and his wife, Margaret Hathaway, are busy promoting their new book “Living With Goats: Everything You Need to Know to Raise Your Own Backyard Herd.”

Karl and Margaret live in southern Maine, where they are small-scale farmers and sustainable agriculture advocates. They love their goats so much, they had them to their wedding. Mazel tov!
