Canning Milk

Thursday, October 15, 2009

In this post at Easy Living the Hard Way, Holly teaches readers how to pressure can milk, which she’s been going for nearly 20 years as a homesteader in Northeast Wyoming.

Holly got the recipe years ago from an article in Dairy Goat Journal and has kept it for so long the paper has yellowed and turned brittle, as much-beloved recipes will do.

Editors Note: And while you’re there, read Holly’s harrowing post on saving a friend’s black filly. In our opinion, Holly should be cloned.
