R.I.P. Angel

Monday, October 5, 2009

RED LODGE, Mont. — Angel, an Angora goat and beloved resident of the Beartooth Nature Center, has died after an attack by an unknown predator.

Angel, who had lived at the center for at least 20 years, was found dead by her caretakers in her enclosure at the wildlife refuge, The Billings Gazette reported in this story.

“This loss is devastating,” said Jeff Ewelt, the center’s executive director. “Angel was not only a guest favorite, but a staff favorite too.”
