The Winners Are…

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. —  The Name That Goat contest at the Oklahoma City Zoo has concluded and the names of their 12 new Nigerian Dwarf goats have been chosen. The contest rules stated that names must be of cities in Oklahoma and the most oft offered would be chosen.

Of 4,398 votes from 588 voters, 643 different names were suggested and the winners are: Gotebo (the hands down winner), Norman, Edmond, Bixby, Hugo, Perry, Oologah, Bowlegs, Chandler, Dewey and Jet. You can see which goat received which name at the zoo’s website.
