China: Walking the Goats

Thursday, January 21, 2010

This video offers a glimpse of what four friends are finding on a 7,000-mile bicycle trip through China in search of “LBX’es” — a shorthand phrase for Chinese “commoners.”

In the mountains of Fujian, the cyclists encountered this goat herder. And if you look closely, you’ll see Alexis, one of the cyclists, riding with the goats on the left side of the video.

We love the white kid bringing up the rear.
