Goat Coats

Monday, January 18, 2010

Are you worried about your kids but don’t have the skills to knit little goatlet sweaters? Try what Mama Bear at Challenged Survival did.

When unusually cold temperatures accompanied the kidding at her place in Florida, she picked up some “onesies” on sale and modified them to suit her needs. An excellent idea if you can keep the little ones from chewing on them.

  1. Thanks for visiting our blog and reporting back on the goat coats (I like that name!) The little onesies have worked great for us and the babies didn’t nibble them at all.

I’m glad to hear they aren’t eating them. I may try it myself if things don’t warm up.
