BLACHLY, Ore. — Cheryl Smith, author of Goat Health Care, is releasing a new book Raising Goats for Dummies.

Goats for Dummies offers new goat owners advice on buying goats, general goat care, kidding, breeding and health care.

Smith raises Mini Oberhasli goats she calls “Oberians,” produces cheese from her herd of 18 goats and works fulltime as executive director of the medical marijuana Compassion Center in Eugene.
