For those intimidated by the needs of full-sized goats, the mini dairy goat may be just the ticket.

Mini goats are creating by breeding Nigerian Dwarf bucks to full-size dairy does. They conform to standard coloring but are smaller.

However, determining percentages and generations, required for registration or showing, can be confusing. Green Gables Mini Nubians has provided a good explanation of how these are determined.
