Friday, February 26, 2010

According to the Weekly Times, exports of goats from Australia continue to be on the rise. As people are becoming more educated about the health benefits of goat meat and milk, demand is increasing and its definitely reflected in Australia’s statistics.

Malaysia receives the vast majority of goats which come largely from the regions of New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. While domestic sales have increased as well, exports have more than doubled over the past five years.
