Cashmere Toilet Paper

Thursday, February 11, 2010

The upscale British grocery chain Waitrose has launched a line of toilet paper containing oil extracted from the hair of cashmere goats.

We are not making this up.

Waitrose is billing its new toilet paper as the “most luxurious bathroom tissue yet.”

“Cashmere provides that stamp of quality to any fashion garment from a designer suit to the finest luxury knitwear,” Waitrose officials said. “It’s indulgent, it’s stylish and it’s helping provide that extra softness to our new premium bathroom tissue collection.”

The cashmere toilet roll is part of a new luxury range that also includes paper enriched with jojoba or aloe vera.
