CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the reprehensible people who stole a pet goat and then returned its head to the grieving owners’ yard.
Andy was kidnapped in the wee hours of the morning from the home where he lived with his brothers, Opie and Barney. His head was returned five days later and carefully propped up in the yard of owners Fran and David Hoyt. Opie and Barney were unharmed.
As we all are, the Hoyts said they were dumbfounded by who would want to harm a pet goat.
