Eat Goats. Save Water

Friday, March 26, 2010

This interactive site by National Geographic shows how much water it takes to bring a pound of meat to the table and the goat is the clear winner over beef, pigs, sheep and chickens.

By the middle of this century, one third of the planet’s people may lack a clean, secure supply water and National Geographic is exploring stories and trends that define the crisis.

Other interactive projects on the site highlight the forces of technology, climate, and locations of water throughout the globe.
