Goat Fencing With Cattle Panels

Thursday, March 11, 2010

GRANDVIEW, Texas — Tara of This Agrarian Life uses rigid livestock panels, sometimes called “cattle panels,” rather than field fencing to contain her goats.

“They never bend or sag no matter how often the goats lean/stand on them, and that also makes them very fast and easy to put up,” Tara says in this post.

The panels go up quickly, are sturdy enough to hold hanging feeders and can be moved to reconfigure your penning area.

  1. I use them especially for my buck lot where it adjoins my does. I don’t even have to worry about fences being torn down by a buck trying to get at a doe in heat.
