Goat Meat Rave

Friday, March 12, 2010

Lacy, who writes “The Road is Life,” first tasted goat meat after years of being a vegan.

“It was the first animal product my skinny ass had had in four years,” Lacy writes in this post. “The nourishment for that gamey, stewed meat filled me with super human strength and it tasted like heaven. I felt invincible and ran up the desert mountains with a hop, not much unlike a mountain goat! From that moment on, I was hooked!”

Lacy says easy access to goat meat is one of her favorite things about traveling, since goat meat is a staple in many countries.

“I love goat product,” Lacy says. “Gimmie goat cheese, goat milk, goat yogurt and I am in bliss and give me goat meat, I might just try and marry you,”
