SWEET HOME, Ore. — Cheese maker Jan Neilson of Fraga Farm is interviewed by Women’s Radio about her certified organic goat dairy, home to about 60 Alpine and Nubian goats.

Jan explains some of the technical aspects of cheese, the difference between raw and pasteurized and what it takes to maintain an organic certification.

Jan also leads Marliese through the barn, where the does and kids call to each other, and she explains how to feed garlic as a natural wormer without having the milk taste like garlic,
