Goat Swap

Friday, April 9, 2010

Taiwan is making a trade with mainland China. China has sent two pandas over to Taiwan and in exchange, Taiwan’s Taipei Zoo will be sending two indigenous goats and a couple of spotted deer to China.

According to the zoo’s director, Jason Yeh, while both species are adaptive, they may need to adjust to the weather in their new home in Liugongdao National Forest Park.
