Fine: One Goat

SOUTH AFRICA –

Don’t throw a fit in front of the President of South Africa unless you have a ready supply of goats. President Zuma’s second wife was less than thrilled with his announcement that he was taking an additional wife and expressed her feelings by “going berserk”, according to IOL News.

Numpumelelo Ntuli is reported to have broken the security gates, demanded a taxi and given President Jacob Zuma’s police guard a whack or two when given the news of the impending nuptials. Her later apology included the gift, a fine imposed for bad behavior, of a goat.

The white goat was slaughtered later in the day following a ceremony at Zuma’s homestead.
