ESPANOLA, New Mex. –

Guardsmen don’t just learn to fire weapons and secure areas, they’re also learning about goats. Members of the 45th Agri-Business Development Team of the Oklahoma Army National Guard are receiving training in such things as goat milking, yarn dying, cheesemaking and butchering.

The program is intended to teach useful skills that can be used to help in Afghan villages when the soldiers are deployed.
