KAMPALA, Uganda –
A proposed goat distribution project in the Sembabule district is underway with arrival of 60 white savannah goats from South Africa. The plan is to promote self-sufficiency through offering breeding stock to 108 farmers living in the district.
The new arrivals will be held for observation and veterinary care prior to be distributed. The program intends to distribute a total 54,000 goats to needy farmers.
