DALLAS, Texas –

It’s not your usual boy meets girl love story but it’s just as bittersweet. Minelli the goat and Judy the Great Dane met under less than auspicious circumstances when they were rescued from a downtown venue in Dallas. They’ve been happily together ever since, until now.

Earlier this week East Lake Pet Orphanage, where the pair have been living, received a call from authorities stating they were in violation of local ordinances regarding livestock. Minelli would have to be moved.

The two are adjusting to their new arrangements but the humans involved are hopeful that they will be reunited soon.
