Web Cammer Saves Goats
ROCHESTER, New York –
Some people might think Helen Bell is too caught up on watching animals on web cam, but Doug Hays wouldn’t be one of them. In this remarkable story from WHAM News, Bell’s love for online animal viewing really saved the day.
Ms Bell was checking her list of animal cams on July 4 when she clicked over to the one at Hays’ goat farm in Oregon, and not a moment too soon. The goats were being attacked by dogs and one was already down. Fast on her feet, Bell called the contact number for Hays and alerted him enabling him to return home. Although one goat was lost, the remaining 37 goats were saved from the dogs.
Way to go, Helen!
(Ed. Note: This is just the kind of people helping people helping goats story I like to see first thing in the morning.)
