Goat Projects Do Work

We’ve seen a lot about goat programs instituted in places where it’s difficult to make a living but we never really hear about the effects of those programs. Until now, that is.

A goat program started in Cotabato, Phillipines, has shown definite benefits for its recipients. Not only have the goats allowed people to discontinue the practice of slash and burn farming, but it’s provided, as one example, Josephine Misamin the resources necessary to send her daughter to college.
