Harrod’s Adds Goat

United Kingdom –

An increased interest in goat meat in London restaurants has prompted Harrod’s, the internationally known department store, to start carrying goat meat in its food hall. An article found from the Belfast Telegraph cites goat meat’s lower fat and caloric contents as compared to beef, lamb and chicken and its versatility as reasons for the increased interest. Harrod’s plans to offer the meat beginning in September for 19.95 pounds per kilo for shoulder.
