KILLORGLIN, Ireland –

The Puck Fair is one of the oldest and longest running fairs in Ireland and we believe we know the reason for that: it’s the goat, of course.

Each year from August 10-12, a local goat is declared King Puck and displayed on a 60 ft pedestal above the crowds of revellers. There’s food, alcohol and frivolity, but what makes it truly special is the goat. King Puck’s accomodations have improved over the years but the spirit remains the same.
