HONEY CREEK, Iowa –

In light of the recent egg recall, many consumers are bemoaning a lack of regulation. Sharon Oamek isn’t one of them.

Oamek and partner, Janna Feldman, are running into regulatory roadblocks in their attempt to open a small goat milk cheese business in western Iowa. Officials say they are protecting the public good; Oamek and Feldman say over-regulation is stifling new ag businesses.
